Cette premi\u00e8re rencontre s\u2019\u00e9tait bien pass\u00e9e et tout et tout\u2026, mais calmons-nous.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au d\u00e9but, j\u2019avais beaucoup plus l\u2019oeil sur St\u00e9phane que l\u2019inverse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019\u00e9tait logique. St\u00e9phane avait 26 ans et moi 37. Il y avait une grosse difference d\u2019\u00e2ge. Moi, j\u2019\u00e9tais s\u00e9rieux et pr\u00eat \u00e0 me caser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St\u00e9phane venait de sortir d\u2019une relation \u00e0 long terme et il ne savait pas trop ce qu\u2019il voulait faire. J\u2019avais une carri\u00e8re bien \u00e9tablie. Pour St\u00e9phane, c\u2019\u00e9tait un nouvel emploi et il ne savait pas trop si ce travail \u00e9tait pour lui. Un jeune employ\u00e9 homosexuel dans le contexte de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision sportive? Vraiment?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beaucoup de choses nous s\u00e9paraient.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St\u00e9phane avait besoin d\u2019\u00e9tre juste St\u00e9phane. Et moi, j\u2019\u00e9tais le gars plus \u00e2g\u00e9 qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressait \u00e0 lui. \u2026 \u00c7a fait un peu clich\u00e9 dans la communaut\u00e9 gaie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Je suis rest\u00e9 dans la cat\u00e9gorie des relations amicales, au moins pendant quelque temps.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il avait besoin d\u2019espace. I had an established career, St\u00e9phane was newly into a job that he wasn\u2019t sure yet would be the right place for him. A young gay working in sports TV? Really?<\/p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was a lot separating us.<\/p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St\u00e9phane needed time to be St\u00e9phane. And I was just this old guy who was into him\u2026 a bit of a clich\u00e9 in the gay community.<\/p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was friend-zoned a bit, if only for a while.<\/p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some space was needed. So every excuse under the sun was used to slow down a second date.<\/p> <p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Including\u2026 \u201cSorry\u2026 I need to dry my hair\u201d.
