I knew I wasn\u2019t ready for a relationship or a boyfriend, but Ian became a very close friend very quickly. I played down how quickly we became close to my friends because I didn\u2019t want them to push me into moving things faster with him. I needed time to figure out what this was.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started being each other\u2019s go-to for so many routine things. From getting groceries at the Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens, watching the latest HGTV show in his condo, to grabbing a late-night bite at Fran\u2019s on Victoria Street, hanging out with him felt right.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This remained the norm for quite some time, to the point where I started getting worried Ian would want to move on from our friendship.
